This is a great opportunity to contribute to UNOPS human resources work, across a range of areas, including learning and development, talent management and HR policy. This role will be part of a team that defines UNOPS HR practices and shapes business partnering capabilities.

The successful candidate will work across many aspects of HR work, including both the coordination and implementation of strategic projects and providing hands-on advice and support. This is a global role, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across the organization is essential. To be successful, you should be equally comfortable providing advice to colleagues on HR issues, supporting PCG's role as an HR business partner, as well as coordinating the development and roll out of global HR and learning programmed.

Functional Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the work stream lead, the Analyst will coordinate the implementation of different HR projects, such as blended learning programs, knowledge sharing initiatives for global audiences, and other human resources initiatives.

This role will require an understanding of business needs and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

Support Learning Programs

  • Design and develop learning initiatives, including virtual and face to face workshops, e-learning courses, certification programs, among others.
  • Coordinate the selection of participants in learning programs in coordination with the different regions.
  • Implement learning programs in cooperation with subject matter experts, vendors, and focal points in UNOPS HQ and field offices
  • Conduct procurement processes to identify external providers of learning programs.

Coordination of Learning Impact Evaluation

  • Administer processes and tools to collect evaluation data.
  • Analyze the data collected in the Learning Management System and cross reference with data collected by different practices.
  • Report on main findings and suggestions for improvement
  • Provide feedback to the owners of different learning programs

Support to cross-functional People & Change activities

  • Develop and administer knowledge sharing forums.
  • Support strategic initiatives and projects related to Human Resources Management.
  • Coordinate internal communication campaigns for different initiatives.
  • Coordinate global HR projects, including learning and development, and talent management. The programs to coordinate may include leadership development

Education/Experience/Language requirements

Education - Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline is required (Human Resources Management, Communications, International Relations, or other related fields). Applicants with Bachelors degree with additional two years of relevant working experience may also be considered.

Experience - Minimum 2 years of experience in the area of Human Resources, Learning and Development and/or Internal Communications is required. - Experience with learning content development is highly desired. - Knowledge and experience with Articulate Storyline, or other similar authoring tools is an asset. - Experience working in an international environment is a distinct asset. - - Knowledge and experience with the management of virtual and blended learning programs would be a distinct asset

Language - Fluency in English is required - Knowledge of either French or Spanish is an asset
