We are looking for a HR Operations & Analytics Officer who is passionate about systems and delivering a good service and support to our HR colleagues in one of the four regions, as well as our Stand – by – Roster Unit. If you are detail-oriented, good with following processes, and would like to work with systems in one of the best NGO’s in the world, then you are the ideal candidate for the role.

About the HR Department

The HR Department at HQ in Copenhagen consists of 30 dedicated and professional colleagues with different backgrounds and nationalities. We deliver HR services in a global non-governmental organization, who works with refugees and displaced worldwide. The HR department is divided into four teams: HR Operations & Analytics, HR Partnering & Recruitment, HR Development &Engagement and HR HQ & Denmark. You will be part of the HR Operations & Analytics team together with 5 other colleagues.

About the job

You will be joining a well-functioning team, where mutual respect, professionalism and high-quality support to our stakeholders has never been compromised. We deliver a number of tasks related to employment contracts and extensions, system related tasks, and HR analytics tasks. You will be having a geographical responsibility and deliver services and support related to contracts, extensions, and the ERP System. Furthermore, you will be a focal point for number of insurances and act as a link between the organization and our external broker.

Your specific tasks will be to:

  • Ensure the global HR policies & procedures are applied and compliant at operational level for all expatriate staff and all Stand-by-Roster deployees
  • Responsible for expat contract management and HR operational process in the assigned region.
  • Focal point for our roving staff and for our EOR (Employment of Record) employees
  • Focal point with our insurance broker, organize meetings with our insurance providers, and support with tenders when needed
  • Maintain confidential, accurate and up to date records of all expatriate staff across all platforms. Improve and streamline work processes in different areas, especially when there is a new policy and other projects launched.
  • Advise and assist expatriate staff regarding contract and relevant matters.

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have a great interest in following processes and looking at them with a critical eye to enhance efficiency. You are a savvy person who is embracing new technologies and is ready to take an advantage of the different system solutions. Natural interest in following processes, attention to detail and analytical approach is a must for this role.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

  • 1-3 years of experience providing client-focused HR support, preferably in an international company or organization
  • Solid understanding of salary and contract processes and preferably also HR in general
  • Proven record in working with systems. Working with Microsoft ERP solution is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding and usage of Excel
  • Focus on quality assurance and control
  • Solid communication skills in primarily English, both oral and written; As we are a multilingual environment, any other language will be considered an asset
  • Able to prioritize, work independently while being an active team player

Contract length: This is permanent position.

Workplace: Borgergade 10, Central Copenhagen

Start date: When a suitable candidate is identified

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and HK . This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply. Please note that due to the urgency in filling the position, you need to have the right to work in Denmark (through nationality or existing work visa).
