Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a motivated HR Officer to join the Recruitment Team to ensure smooth and efficient recruitment processes of key staff across the organisation.

About the job

As HR Officer you will support two Recruitment Specialists in recruiting for senior managerial positions by solving administrative tasks. You will also have the full overview of recruitments in Denmark and deliver administrative support to hiring managers through the recruitment cycle. You will be the super user of our recruitment system HR Manager/ Talent Recruiter which entails keeping the system and processes up to date. As the focal point of the recruitment inboxes, you will juggle the accountability to different stakeholders and support colleagues across the globe with their technical recruitment questions as well as candidates’ inquiries to the status of their recruitments.

Support to international senior management recruitment & recruitment in Denmark

  • Support recruitments by posting adverts including quality check, communicating with candidates, handling tests, booking interviews, collecting references, sending rejections
  • Update internal recruitment overviews and statistics
  • Advertise positions on external job advertisement channels (ReliefWeb, CoordinationSud, Jobindex)

Focal point for DRC’s recruitment system

  • Be the super user in our recruitment system HR Manager Talent Recruiter including keeping the system up to date, improving processes and updating our internal training material (guides & videos)
  • Assist international HR Colleagues with technical recruitment support and user creation
  • Make sure recruitment systems are GDPR compliant

Support to global organisation in regard to recruitment

  • Monitor our global recruitment inbox with questions from candidates and hiring managers
  • Create recruitment updates for DRC’s LinkedIn (job slots and posts) and monitor Glassdoor and other platforms
  • Keep our MS Teams collaboration channel “Global HR Network” up to date

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have the following competencies:

Required

  • 2 years of administrative experience and a flair for and an interest in administrative work
  • Experienced user of MS Office, Sharepoint familiarity is favourable
  • Detail oriented, organised and structured with a quality mindset
  • Proactive and solution oriented within your area of work
  • Comfortable managing your own time and deliverables and able to work independently
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders including the ability to work with stakeholders who possess different work styles
  • Full proficiency in English

Desirable

  • Ideally, you have experience with recruitment support in an organisation of similar size and experience working in IT systems
  • Experience working with a recruitment or HR system as a super user or focal point will be a distinct advantage
  • Knowledge of French, Spanish or Arabic would be an asset

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and HK.

This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply. Please note that you need to have the right to work in Denmark (through nationality or existing work visa) in order to be considered for this role.
