ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Procurement Management

- Manage all procurement activities related to the Resettlement Program and ensuring newly arrived refugee homes are fully stocked and furnished. - Responsible for purchasing and ordering resettlement supplies following IRC’s procurement and finance guidelines. - Coordinate volunteers and staff for support of procurement duties including stocking and inventory of supplies and apartment setups. - Field inquiries and pick-ups from community donors with furniture or other appropriate items to gather necessary supplies for new arrivals. - Work closely with the development team to engage community and corporate partners for donation drives to gather required household items for new refugee arrivals.

Inventory Management

- Coordinate onsite and offsite office storage of donated items for new arrivals. - Maintain sound tracking and records supplies a moving in and out of the office. - Manage new arrival supply lists and periodically update with market prices.

Tracking & Reporting

- Manage overall storage and accountability of operations of donated resettlement goods. - Value and track donated goods distributed to clients, and ensure proper filing is completed. - Oversee the deliverables of grants secured for logistics, housing, and supplies. - Enter data as required by the program.

Housing Provision

- Ensure housing is secured and fully furnished prior to a new refugee arrival. - Ensure compliance with R&P requirements for housing setup and supplies. - Maintain positive relationships with landlords, housing authority and other stakeholders related to refugee housing. - Oversee apartment set-up schedule with staff, volunteers, and partners.

Other Duties

- Provide supervision to the Housing Specialist - Provide leadership team with recommendations for continuous improvement in issues of resettlement logistics and housing operations. - Other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

- A college degree in a related field business administration, supply chain management or operations. - Three or more years of related professional work experience; preferably in a non-profit or other social services environment and related to logistics management. - One or more years of supervisory experience. - A demonstrated record of increasingly responsible roles in a mission and outcome driven environment. - Professional, friendly, and courteous attitude a must. Strong customer service skills a must. - Highly organized self-starter with proven success managing multiple priorities, making critical decisions, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. - Demonstrated success achieving goals and communicating effectively a multi-cultural environment. - Ability to lift 35+ lbs. safely. - Ability to drive a vehicle and must have proof of insurance and valid driver’s license. - Commitment to the mission of IRC.

Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
