Danish Refugee Council is looking for our new Head of Global HR Operations and Analytics.

The HR Operations and Analytics team is part of People & Organisation department which consists of HR, IT, Code of Conduct, Facility Service and Internal Communication.

We are four HR teams in our headquarters in Copenhagen consisting of about 30 diverse HR colleagues supporting employees and managers with HR related matters across our HQ and international operations.

You will be responsible for a team working with the HR processes in the ERP system DRC Dynamics including contracts and analytics. You will lead a team of 6 HR colleagues based in our headquarters in Copenhagen, hereof 3 HR specialists, 1 HR officer and 2 students. The team works primarily with HR processes and HR data for our employees on expatriate contracts and Danish contracts.

In this position you will be the Business Process Owner (BPO) for the process “People to Pay”, hence you will be chairperson of that Governance Board and be part of the DRC Dynamics Governance Board for the system and all processes in DRC Dynamics. The process focuses on managing the people – understanding and supporting the employee lifecycle

The job has an extensive international outlook and requires a person who follows international HR trends and is able to work on complex, international HR matters. You are skilled at driving processes in a complex organisation through informal leadership and collaboration. You bring an extensive HR toolbox with a focus on HR process optimisation and analytics.

In this position you will report to the Head of International HR Partnering and work together with the Head of HR HQ and Denmark and the Head of People Development and Engagement. You will be part of the extended HR global management team with the Regional HR managers. Global HR counts 30 colleagues in Copenhagen and around 200 colleagues globally. You will also be part of the global management team of People & Organisation headed by the Executive Director of People & Organisation (HR, IT, Code of Conduct and Internal Communication)

****Your responsibilities will include:****

  • Leading and managing the HR Operations & Analytics team of 6i in Copenhagen.
  • Establish high performing HR operations team and ensuring high-quality approaches are maintained
  • Leading the Global Business Process Board People to Pay, as Business Process Owner (BPO), and collaborating with relevant colleagues in other Departments
  • As BPO and within your business process leading initiatives regarding community, learning, system changes, process mapping, master data, etc.
  • Represent People to Pay in the DRC Dynamics Governance Board
  • Leading strategic priorities within People to Pay
  • Leading relevant cross business processes and strategic priorities, such as capacity building initiatives
  • Taking part of important HR initiatives
  • Representing the HR departments in different internal and external for a
  • Ensuring collaboration across the HR department as well as other relevant stakeholders
  • Ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations processes for expats and Danish staff related to contracts, HR data, salary, new and existing staff, residence and work permits, etc.
  • Ensuring the day to day handling of insurances in our field operations, and the administration of the psychological counselling scheme for Denmark and our international operations
  • Developing analytics to support data-based decision making in the global organization

    ****About you****

  • We expect that you have solid experience in HR processes and HRIS. Knowledge of the ERP system we use in DRC, Dynamics, is an advantage but now a requirement.

  • You have solid experience with digital supported processes and are digitally literate.
  • You have solid experience in gathering, analysing and utilising data analytics.
  • You have an international profile and are fluent in spoken and written English and Danish.
  • You should be able to contribute with a positive and service-minded attitude to collaborate and interact with multiple and diverse stakeholders throughout our 40 country operations and headquarters.
  • You are able to drive projects and write and communicate policies in a global organisation.
  • You have both a humanitarian, organisational and commercial acumen.
  • You have experience with or potential for people and leadership skills.
  • You master DRC's core competencies: Communicating, Taking the lead, Collaborating, Striving for excellence and Demonstrating integrity.
