You have:
- Bachelors degree in design, art, communication, journalism
- Background in design, art and illustration with advanced skills in design tools and platforms
- At least 3 years of successful experience as a graphic designer
- Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Experience working with UNICEF or UN agencies is an advantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English

Purpose of Activity/Assignment:
UNICEF ECARO Evaluation Section requires an online volunteer who can provide high-quality graphic design, publication layout service.
Under the direction of the UNICEF Evaluation Specialist(s), the Online volunteer will work on the design of one "2024 Country Programme Evaluation Report - North Macedonia" - 160 pages. The design to be delivered in accordance with UNICEF's Style Book and Brand Book: 1. Design report(s) to support the Evaluation Section to communicate content in the most effective and compelling way, applying the UNICEF brand guidelines throughout for consistency and coherence. - Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with focal point - Develop the final design according to agreed requirements. The design/layout should follow UNICEF’s corporate design guidelines (mentioned above) which will be shared with the Online volunteer in advance. 2. Source quality and most suitable photos from the UNICEF database in line with the global guidelines. Photos selected for the materials should reflect the information on text of a report. 3. Use exiting published UNICEF reports as reference
Minimum Qualifications required: • Bachelors degree in design, art, communication, journalism • Background in design, art and illustration and advanced skills in using design tools and platforms • At least 3 years of successful experience of working as graphic designer (sharing design samples, references will make a candidate stand out from all other candidates) • Proficiency in using digital software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobе Illustrator, InDesign • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure • Successful experience working with UNICEF or other UN agencies is an advantage • Good verbal and written communication skills Languages • English, Level: Fluent, Required UNV application should include: - CV (must) - Relevant recommendation letters in the past three years (desirable). - Portfolio (must) Other information The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the Evaluation team at UNICEF and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support.
