The UN Multi-Country Fiji is led by the UN Resident Coordinator, Mr. Dirk Wagener and a Joint UN Country Team. There are five Pacific Island Countries and Territories (PICTs) under the leadership of the Fiji Multi-Country Office (MCO) including Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. The assignment supports the UNRCO Communications Team in developing high quality banners that show one UN approach in addressing common regional challenges.
The UN Multi-Country Office Fiji is looking for one Online Volunteer who, under the guidance of the Associate Communications Officer, and in close collaboration with the communications team, supports us by producing 2 graphic designs for pull-up banners. In particular, the Online Volunteer will be asked to: - Edit the existing UNSDG banner in line with the UN branding guidelines. - Design two banner options for UN Pacific, pictures will be provided by the host entity. - Develop the design according to agreed requirements.
The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.
Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts, and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. Candidates are required to upload samples of previous work in the application process (under the motivation statement.)
