You have:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience Accounting & Finance in NGO.
- BA Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English.
- Experience in using word, excel and other computer skills is an asset.
- Knowledge and experience on humanitarian response programming an asset.

Major Responsibilities
Financial Accounting Operation:
- Prepare complete, accurate and timely Project financial/grant reports and submit to the Finance manager , other internal and external stakeholders as per WVE financial manual
- Ensure proper Data Quality and hold data in timely manner, preparing and reviewing Project data for posting
- Handles all bank matters, including bank signatories, bank reconciliation, and bank deposits, making sure the Location balance sheet account is proper, updated, and current.
- Ensure sub-project settlement and follow-up of compliance, timely submission to HUB financial data processing, and keeping all accounts current and up-to-date.
- Review payroll preparation for Project level hired staff and casual workers and effect timely payment
- Review business & travel advance requests & ensure timely settlement for Project staff
Financial Reporting & Budgeting:
- Involve in budget preparation, cash flow analysis, budget management and control in collaboration with program staff.
- Ensuring in maintaining monthly and annual fixed asset inventory register of the Project ensure timely submission to HO.
Financial Compliance & Risk Management:
- Coordinate the pre-audit preparation for the Projects internal, local external and Global Centre (GC) audit and ensure implementation of audit recommendations
- Handle cash request and management to ensure The Projects have sufficient balance ever month end cash balance according to the target low
- Follow-up and ensure purchased items of the Grant Project are collected as per the requested date of delivery.
Stewardship Management & Resource Efficiency:
- Review and submit insurance data related to vehicle, motor cycle to RO and annual insurance survey data to National Office for timely annual insurance renewal
- Advice the Project Supervisor on Financial and Administrative Issues
Required Professional Experience
Minimum 4 years’ experience Accounting & Finance NGO experience
Experience in using word, excel and other computer skills is an asset

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- BA Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience on humanitarian response programming an asset.
- Knowledge of and ability to implement integrated programs in the development and emergency context.
- Good computer skill in MS Offices and operating office equipment
- Fluent in written and spoken English language and other local languages
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
- Work environment: Based in Alamata
- Travel: Frequent domestic travel within the targeted woredas
