Context

Established in 1946, NRC is an independent, humanitarian, non-profit, non-governmental organisation working in over 30 countries. We employ a rights based approach, challenging those with responsibility to uphold the rights of displaced people set out within national and International Laws. We do this through our programmes, where we provide assistance to meet immediate humanitarian needs, prevent further displacement and contribute to durable solutions. At the root of our programmes are our solid technical expertise and specific sectorial knowledge aiming for the highest possible quality, whether in stand-alone or integrated approaches.

The Global Logistics team based in the Oslo Head Office is our Logistics Centre of Excellence and provides a range of Logistics related expertise to NRC. The expertise include but not limited to, the designing & development of organizational wide supply chain systems, the development & upkeep of organizational wide policies and procedures, the provision of strategic support and technical advice to all the Regional and Country Offices.

We are looking for an experienced Logistician with a strategic mind-set, a global perspective, strong leadership skills and excellent personal and interpersonal skills to be responsible for leading the optimization of NRC’s Logistics globally.
