We achieve this by collaborating with, among others, corporations, private foundations, and philanthropists.

We are now looking for an experienced, independent but team and result-oriented colleague, to expand our corporate partnerships in support of NRC’s strategic goals.

This is a permanent position

The selected candidate will ideally be based in Oslo, but remote working form other European locations may be considered (conditions and terms may vary from Oslo based role)

Your role and responsibilities

The Global Corporate Relations Adviser will be responsible for cultivating partnerships and building pipeline with new corporate partners through grants and pro bono opportunities. Some of the responsibilities include contributing to implement NRCs fundraising strategy, provide support to the organisation, produce communication and visibility around partnerships and monitor income, activities, and costs.

The person needs to be able to deliver on their goals and work with the team on joint opportunities. The role will be overseen by a line manager and a technical line manager to strengthen and expand corporate fundraising in the corporate global unit.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum 3 years of documented relevant experience within marketing, business development, sales or other relevant professional qualifications
  • Documented professional knowledge of the private corporate sector marked
  • Documented results related to strategic relationship building, partnerships and networking
  • Experience in contributing to developing and implementing fundraising and market strategies and activities
  • Fluency in English and ideally Norwegian, both written and verbal
  • Experience from professional liaisons with foundations, corporations and philanthropists.

  • Experience working with stakeholders across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Interest in humanitarian and displacement issues an advantage

  • Experience from marketing, events, fundraising and/or project management
