NRC is looking for a Finance Manager to join the Myanmar mission. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring the financial set up in the country to support programme/project implementation.

If you are If you are an influential and strategic finance executive, with strong analytical expertise, a track record in managing change, and an effective communicator who has a passion for capacity building and leading and inspiring large and diverse teams, then this is the role for you!

What You Will Do

  • Financial overview and monthly financial reporting.
  • Financial systems, routines, and procedures implementation.
  • Budget control and cashflow monitoring.
  • Report and analysis provision.
  • Account reconciliations.
  • Financial management routines and systems.
  • Standard operating procedures development and updates.

What You Will Bring

  • Senior financial management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
  • Audit, risk management, and budgeting experience.
  • Computer software and modern accounting systems proficiency.
  • Remote team management, supervision, and support experience.
  • Complex, and volatile context exposure.
  • Start-up and/or exit exposure.
  • Myanmar context exposure and knowledge.
  • English fluency, both written and verbal.

What We Offer

  • Yangon, Myanmar duty station, but with the ability and flexibility to work from home/remotely for extended periods of time.
  • 12-month contract duration.
  • 20% travel, approximately.
  • Grade 9 in NRC’s Salary Scale. NRC offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
