KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Financial Management, Compliance and Partner Support

  • Prepare, review, and process financial documents in accordance with World Vision financial policies, donor regulations, and grant guidelines.
  • Administer project cash and bank transactions, including maintaining daily cash books and conducting daily cash counts.
  • Prepare and process payment vouchers (CDVs, DVs, JVs) accurately and on time to support smooth project implementation.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and secure filing of all financial records and supporting documents.
  • Utilize World Vision financial systems (e.g., ProVision, Concur, and other approved systems) effectively.
  • Monitor compliance with donor requirements, procurement policies, and internal financial controls.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Finance Coordinator, project staff, Procurement, and implementing partners to ensure financial accountability and compliance.
  • Conduct regular monitoring visits to project locations and partner offices to review financial transactions, verify supporting documents, and assess compliance.
  • Prepare monitoring reports and recommend corrective actions to strengthen financial controls and risk management.
  • Review partners’ financial reports and supporting documents and provide technical guidance on financial management and donor compliance.
  • Participate in procurement and sub-procurement processes as required.
  • Verify that project assets are properly recorded, safeguarded, and maintained.
  • Prepare fund forecasts, cash flow projections, and fund request documentation in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate project fund requests and monitor fund utilization to ensure adequate liquidity and effective financial planning.

Audit Compliance, Continuous Improvement and Organizational Values

  • Support Finance Coordinator and relevant stakeholders in implementing audit recommendations and agreed action plans.
  • Monitor and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Communicate audit observations and recommendations to project teams and partners as appropriate.
  • Undertake additional assignments and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor or manager.
  • Actively participate in professional and personal development initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate commitment to World Vision's Core Values, Code of Conduct, and safeguarding requirements in all aspects of work.
  • Carry out or engage tasks with good judgement and responsibly.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments proactively.
