Job Overview:

The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for essential accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end closing assistance, inventory reconciliation, file maintenance, and other tasks as assigned. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager.

Major Responsibilities:

- Maintain and create vendor accounts in IRC accounting systems. - Assure vendors are compliant with IRC requirements. - Manage and reconcile monthly office credit card statements. - Prepare reconciliation journal entries for bulk purchase of inventory. - Prepare reallocation and intercompany entries as needed. - Conduct weekly bank deposits and update them in IRC accounting systems and prepare bank reconciliation. - Prepare journal entries for CIK (Contributions In Kind), corrections, and update CIK spreadsheet. - Assist programs with billings and assembling documentation. - Coordinate with all programs for reconciliation of receivable and payable balances. - Assist in the payment process, monthly time & effort report and the month end closing process. - Assist in Integra deployment as needed. - Other Finance and Administration duties as assigned.

External: Community partners, funders, vendors, and suppliers

Job Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or similar field of study. - 2 + years professional work experience with accounting and bookkeeping procedures and standards. - High degree of professional integrity; ability and commitment to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data. - Solid organizational skills: detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines. - Ability to work independently, be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively - Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively across teams and in a multi-cultural environment. - Solid Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, other financial related software strongly preferred

Working Environment:

- A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. - May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirement.
