The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wishes to be part of a dynamic and engaging team in a leading International NGO. Trócaire’s operations in Northern Ireland are important for raising both public and institutional funding to support our programmes, as well as engaging with the public to increase awareness of and solidarity with those affected by poverty, marginalisation and injustice across the world. Reporting to the Head of Region, this role is critical to ensuring the smooth operating of Trócaire NI’s finance function and also in supporting the Head of Region in their company secretary duties.

Requirements
You will report to the Head of Region. The job opportunity will be offered on a permanent part time basis for 25 hours per week and is based in Belfast.
We are looking for someone with previous experience working in a financial role that includes bank reconciliations, cash handling and conducting day to day banking. You will have good attention to detail, a strong working knowledge of accounting systems and hold a recognised accounting technician qualification.
