OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

WHO is a specialized agency of the United Nations withobjectives to promote health, keep the world safe and serve the vulnerable. TheWHO Indonesia Country Office directs and coordinates the authority for healthby supporting the Indonesian Government in the formulation, implementation andevaluation of national health policies, strategies and plans, setting norms andstandards, improving knowledge dissemination and management, monitoring countryhealth situation and building sustainable institutional capacity. The Country Office continually improves its administrativeefficiency in managing financial and human resources in a results-oriented andtransparent manner. This is crucial for the organization to deliver appropriatetechnical assistance to the Government.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Under the direct supervision of the of AdministrativeOfficer (AO), and under guidance from ICT Associate the incumbent provides support and assistance in maintenance and coordination of ICT facilities in WCO Indonesia.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network and system related problems and faults in coordination with SEARO Infrastructure team and escalate to GSD/NOC and HQ as required.
  • Monitor the utilization and performance of the Internet connection in WCO Indonesia office.Perform ongoing setup, maintenance & administration of the video and teleconferencing services in WCO Indonesia office and critical meetings outside office.
  • Monitor and Support in all VCs and TCs in coordination with global team, RO team and vendors as needed.
  • Should follow IT Service Management and delivery based ITIL process.
  • Ensure proper and timely closure of multiple tickets assigned within WCO office and escalate to RO/HQ ICT team if required.
  • Maintain up to date IT inventory records and documentation on IT systems (hardware, software, applications and maintenance SOP and procedures).
  • To provide ICT support (computers, printers, LAN, UPS, etc) in WCO office.
  • Serve as a backup for other team members in the IT team in their absence. and Carry out any other duties relevant to the job, as required by the supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: Secondary School education supplemented by relevant coursesin Information Technology, Cisco and Microsoft Certifications, InformationTechnology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

Desirable: Graduate in Electronic and telecommunication, ComputerScience ,IT or Equivalent.

Experience

Essential: At least five years of experience in Server and NetworkAdministration, Virtual Infrastructure LAN/WAN, telecommunications, telephonyinfrastructure, audio/video conferencing applications (Zoom, WebEx, MicrosoftTeams), Hardware support in Severs/Desktop/Printers and Network devices.Knowledge on ITIL based service delivery.

Desirable: Experience with Agile development processes.Experience inan UN organization, international organization, government, business or professionaloffice.

Skills

Strong experience in Network and System Administration, Storage / Backup Infrastructure.Experience in managing Active Directory/Windows Servers Installation and Administration.Professional competencies in performing Installation, Upgrade, Configuration, and support of Hardware, Software, Peripheral's system & Network Devices.Hands on Experience in Datacentre Optimization, transformation and procedures, Server Virtualization, VMware and Hyper-V, Router and Switches.Knowledge on new cloud and mobile services .

REMUNERATION

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at IDR 203,530,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
