You have:
- Fluent in Pashtu, Dari and knowledge of English languages

- Computer literate
- Experience in conducting field assessments, data collection, and interviews
- At least 12th Grade graduate or university graduation
- Experience working on humanitarian programs and field assessments
- Experience with Open Data Kit (ODK), Kobo Toolbox, and mobile data collection
- Good understanding of Afghanistan’s culture and tradition
- Familiarity with target locations at the province, district, and community levels

ABOUT THE JOB
The overall purpose of the role:
The enumerators are responsible to carry out the interview, focus group discussion (FGD), key information interview (Kll,) and Post distribution monitoring (PDM) in Kunar.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementation of the assessment in his/her assigned area, including understanding, questionnaires, focus group discussions, PDM, and key informant interviews.
- Understanding the scope, tools & purpose of the assessment
- Conducting assessment and community liaison to ensure safe entry and data collection in line with Protection principles and end-line survey.
- Data collection record and fill the questionnaire on paper /digital device (Mobile Tablet).
- Consider confidentiality during and after the interviews.
- Ensure collected data in the database are completed and accurate (double check)
- Make sure the time is managed properly to complete the required data forms each day.
- Provide daily reports of work progress.
- Ensure the collected data is submitted to the team leader by the end of the day.
- Ensure adherence to the Code of Conduct for Enumerators (annexed).
- Ensure good communication and coordination with the MEAL officer, team leaders, and local community.
Essential Qualifications:
- Fluent in Pashtu, Dari and knowledge of English languages
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to communicate with different groups
- Computer literate
- Experience in conducting field assessments, data collection, and interviews

- Ability to gather information in an objective, appropriate and sensitive way by carefully observing, actively listening, paying full attention to the situation and the information from the various sources, and understanding the points being made,

- Able to elicit information without leading the interviewee.

Education:
- At least 12th Grade graduate or university graduation
Languages:
- Ability to read and write in English and to communicate in Pashto.
Experience and technical competencies:
- Experience working on humanitarian programs and field assessments preferred (including voluntary experience)
- Experience with Open Data Kit (ODK), Kobo Toolbox, and mobile data collection.
- Good understanding of Afghanistan’s culture and tradition.
- Familiarity with target locations at the province, district, and community/village levels.

We Offer:
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the DRC salary scale:
- Duration of the contract will be for 6 months from the date of contract signature.
- A working day consists of 8 hours: starting from 08:00 to 16:00 with one-hour lunch and prayer break.
- The working days are Sunday – Thursday (5 days per week).
