Translate a toolkit for youth workshops from English to Hindi.

You have:

  • Hindi as mother tongue is mandatory.
  • Professional experience in translation or leadership training is highly valued.
  • Availability of 6-10 hours per week for 3 weeks.

The online volunteer will translate from English to Hindi a train-the-trainer toolkit developed by Youth Co:Lab, used by youth to organise workshops about Leadership in Action. The translation should be youth-friendly and localized in order to reach and engage with more remote communities. The toolkit, hosted online, is a mix of Word and PowerPoint documents as well as a survey. We will be available to answer any question and provide the necessary support. The Toolkit approximately contains 5,000 English words.

    Youth Co:Lab positions young people front and center in order to solve the region’s most pressing challenges. Co-created in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, Youth Co:Lab aims to establish a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in youth, so that they can accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship. Youth Co:Lab has been implemented in 25 countries and territories across Asia Pacific. Recently, Youth Co:Lab launched the Movers Programme, a regional movement of volunteers who organise and facilitate workshops at a grassroots level to raise awareness about the SDGs and develop entrepreneurial mindsets among youth.
