Overview
Lead economic empowerment programs for refugees in Turlock.
You have:
- A 4-year degree with an emphasis in Business, Not-for-profit Management, Public Administration, or International Development Management, preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Social Service, Non-Profit Management or related fields, including a minimum of 3 years managing and directing teams.
- Experience managing teams and monitoring multi-donor funded programs, with ability to manage various projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with budget management and drafting donor reports.
- Excellent understanding of Economic Empowerment principles as they relate to underserved populations, including early employment and financial literacy.
- Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of state and county workforce development systems is required.
- Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Fluency in additional language relevant to current refugee populations desirable (e.g., Arabic, Farsi, Pashto, Tigrinya, Burmese, Spanish, Amharic).
