Treasury Operations (TREOP) is the Department which provides a full range of middle and back-office support for Treasury’s asset management, capital markets and banking functions. The Department is organized in three operational units: Capital Markets and Investment Operations (TRECI), Quantitative Solutions and Analytics (TREQA), and Banking Operations (TREBK).

The Quantitative Solutions and Analytics team (TREQA) is the focal point of quantitative, analytical and reporting support for TRE’s fixed income asset management business. TREQA develops and implements quantitative models, financial solutions and portfolio analytics; the team also provides support in financial accounting, investment performance measurement, investment guideline compliance monitoring to for internal& external clients, as well as related capacity building for central banks, sovereign wealth &pension funds, office of debt management & strategic partners.

Duties and Accountabilities:

The ETC - Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Work with 65 plus entities including World Bank Group entities, third-party clients, and official institutions within TRE's Asset Management business. • Perform the Daily Pricing and Valuation of Financial Instruments, including pricing challenges and investigations of pricing issues or inquires. Play a key coordinating role in interacting with pricing vendors. • Participate in managing market data automation projects for new financial instruments to continuously reduce operational risks. • Compare internal derivative valuation with independent 3rd party; Research and analyze valuation related issues. • Ensure that monthly, quarterly deliverables and reporting requirements are accurate and performed promptly with third-party client activity. • Participate in Investment performance analytics and cross support other TREQA functions. • Participate in major system replacement initiatives and other Treasury Operations projects and business initiatives. • Design sound business processes and ensure that all business processes in the unit are properly documented and complied with.

All TREQA staff will also have the following responsibilities to some degree:

• Keep abreast of industry best practices and technology improvements pertaining to the team’s functions. • Maintaining close contacts and liaising with internal and external counterparts including Treasury colleagues in the investment and funding departments; commercial and investment banks, asset managers and central banks. • Prepare materials for professional collaborations, advisory engagements and workshops with central banks and other official sector institutions. • Communicate any regulatory requirements and industry best practice changes to the Department. • Assist in additional projects as needed within TREQA.

Selection Criteria

1. Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (Finance or accounting) in a financial institution. 2. Professional Certification in CFA is a strong plus. 3. Solid knowledge of fixed income securities and derivatives products is required. 4. Familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, Summit and Murex is highly desirable. 5. Capability to use Excel Macro VBA and Python is a strong plus 6. Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous competing demands and deliver on time. 7. Experience in delivering high quality client services within a client-focused environment. 8. Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including the capacity to communicate and discuss complex technical accounting issues in simple terms both verbally and in writing. 9. A very high degree of self-motivation and drive to high performance, while instilling a culture of fun and care in the workplace. Having the highest ethical standards.
