IFC’s Treasury Client Solutions Department is a client-facing transaction-structuring and execution team that provides IFC’s clients with innovative fixed-income solutions. The group has global responsibility for derivative transactions, structured products, local currency solutions, and debt capital markets solutions.

The department is looking to appoint a highly motivated finance professional to join the EMEA team in London, covering markets in Africa, Middle East, Europe and Central Asia. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the structuring, pricing and execution of fixed income transactions for IFC’s clients including interest rate and currency derivatives as well as debt capital markets and structured products; • Contribute to structuring and execution of IFC’s local currency bond issuances, by providing analytical and transactional support; • Maintain and apply financial simulation models for structuring and pricing of transactions; • Conduct market research in local and international derivatives, debt capital and structured credit markets; • Contribute to business development and marketing of solutions to clients; • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including international investment banks, local banks, capital market firms, investors, and regulators; • Provide analytics for investment committees, contribute to knowledge management and prepare documents for training, business development, and decision committees; • Participate in negotiations and travel as required; and • Contribute to documentation review, portfolio monitoring, and valuation as needed.

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial engineering, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Actuarial Science or a related quantitative field; • 2+ years of relevant work experience; • Understanding of fixed income markets, interest rate and FX derivatives, and/or structured finance; • Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills and advanced knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of database and statistical software packages would be a plus; • Ability to multi-task and to pay attention to detail under tight deadlines; • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work in a team; and • Strong oral and written communication skills.
