  • Certificate of High School
  • Technical / driving license
  • At least two-year experiences on driving vehicle, truck...
  • Ability in maintenance the vehicles and driving on rough rural road as well as city road.
  • Willing and able to travel within project areas and between Kampong Thom and Phnom Penh to support the implementation and monitoring the program.
  • Willing and able to travel and undertake round-trip driving between Kampong Thom and Phnom Penh, including overnight stays in Phnom Penh and occasional weekend work (up to once per month), with accommodation support and compensatory time off provided.
  • Good English and Khmer communication in both reading and writing

Position: Driver for IMPACT

Location: Kampong Svay, Kampong Thom province (Including travel to Phnom Penh)

Salary: Negotiable

Duration of contract: March 2026 – February 2027 (12 months)-possible extension

Closing Date: 11-Feb- 2026

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

This position is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation to support project staff and project implementation. Duties are assigned by the Finance & Administration Officer for IMPACT and include driving within the project target areas to ensure smooth implementation of activities, as well as maintaining vehicles in good working conditions. The Driver also provides transportation between Phnom Penh and Kampong Thom for Project Manager and Phom Penh Office based staff as necessary. The Driver needs to be proactive, supportive and timely while working with the project.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving vehicle within the project areas and between the project areas and Phnom Penh as assigned by the Project Manager and the Line Manager.
  • Driving responsibly, following traffic direction and respecting established speed limits and any other internal regulations of the use of vehicles to avoid accident.
  • Assist passengers load and unload the luggage and equipment.
  • Daily checking for problems of the vehicle. Routine vehicle check including Tires pressures, Radiator, Battery, Engine, Brake, tank and clutch oil prior beginning of the day to be secure for passengers.
  • Report of any requirement of vehicle maintenance and any accidence for vehicle and staff to the supervisor/Admin assistant immediately.
  • Immediately report to line manager for any conflict travel schedule or direct request by requesters.
  • Follow the safe driving practice to ensure the safety of the Passengers and the vehicle
  • Assist line manager and Project Manager for some administrative works
