ABOUT THE JOB
The overall purpose of the role:
The Driver is responsible to provide timely and safe transport of passengers and goods in compliance with the Operations Handbook, Local driving rules, and Area Security Plan and annexes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe transportation for Area office staff and assets
- Provide accurate reports of mileage
- Maintain vehicles on daily basis in good repair and a roadworthy condition
- Safeguard the passengers and vehicles, according to DRC procedures
- Keep confidentiality of the movement
- Assist with other office work as required by the Logistics and Safety officer
- Basic communication with communities during field missions
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Good communication skills
- Sound knowledge of spoken English and Local Languages
- Have a valid driving license.
Education/qualifications:
High School Graduated
Languages:
Proficient in spoken Dari and Pashto with basics English
