Online volunteers are expected to support us in developing social media content, creations, graphics and designs. In addition, we need volunteers to create a promotional post and assist us with digital marketing campaigns for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube channel. These Online Volunteers are responsible for promoting weekly climate change / environment news. The contents of campaigns are mainly focused on environment, climate change and the news which we are publishing each week. The selected volunteers will be placed to the various tasks on the basis of their expertise/experience in content writing, graphics designing, video editing and so on. Each Online Volunteer is expected to create one piece of content (graphic/design/story/etc.) each week.

  This project aims to bring traffic to our 'Weekly World Climate Change News' initiative and make the global audiences aware of Climate Emergency. The social media accounts will help the YouTube channel, where the weekly news is broadcasted to grow its subscribers. Universal Versatile Society (UVS) is UNEP accredited organization, consists of a team of volunteers, a group of climate change fighters, whose mission is to cover Climate Change News on a weekly basis, ultimately to raise awareness and sensitize the audience of the severity of climate change while also inspiring them of solutions that they can adopt in their daily lives. We also inform our audience with objectivity and professionalism through our broadcasts, updating them of the latest news in decision-making within the fields of climate change and biodiversity. To further this mission and contribute to SDG 13, we decided to expand our news updates through social media, creating a personal relation with our audience who will be able to have a constant news feed of environmental issues through our work. This is why these volunteer places are of utmost importance to UVS and the criteria will be highly selective.

  Universal Versatile Society seeks to commitment in an Online Volunteer, as the schedule is demanding consisting of posting 5 days/week. Candidates should be passionate for climate change journalism, with experience within the field of journalism and social media management. Volunteers should have fresh and creative ideas.
