You have:

  • Proven experience in visual arts and graphic design, creating visually appealing digital content and imagery as well as production of visual material.
  • Competency in graphic design tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, team-oriented, remote environment.
  • Some exposure to coordinating or liaising with multiple stakeholders in a remote setting is desirable.
  • Candidates should provide a link to their portfolio showcasing previous artworks.

UN Human Rights Moldova is implementing the project ‘Strengthening the rights of minorities in the Republic of Moldova,’ funded by EU which includes activities to raise public awareness about the importance of promoting equality and non-discrimination and human rights principles. One of the approaches used by the Office to highlight the problem of discrimination on various grounds in society as well as human rights principles is the use of illustrations. To support in this approach the Office is seeking Online Volunteers. UN Human Rights Moldova plans to use illustrations developed by Online Volunteers during exhibitions, educational events, etc., and on branded products.

We are looking for 15 Online Volunteers to develop visual material illustrating various forms of discrimination prevalent in society. Under the guidance of the Human Rights Officer, each Online Volunteers will develop up to 3 unique without the use of AI digital illustrations depicting (a) equality and social cohesion in society and (b) up to 3 unique without the use of AI digital illustrations on countering discrimination faced by various groups of people in Moldova in areas such as employment, education, access to various public services, etc. The illustrations will be the property of UN Human Rights, which, with mandatory attribution to the authors, will be able to use them for educational and informational purposes.

Proven experience in visual arts and graphic design, creating visually appealing digital content and imagery as well as production of visual material. Candidates should provide a link to their portfolio. Some exposure to coordinating or liaising with multiple stakeholders in a remote setting is desirable. Skills: Competency in graphic design tools. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, team-oriented, remote environment. To be considered for the assignment, candidates should provide a link to a portfolio showcasing previous artworks. Upon completion, the Online Volunteers will receive Certificates of Appreciation for their contributions
