ASCOA is currently seeking 5 online volunteers to assist with the development and support of ASCOA's communication and social media strategy. The Communication and Social Media Specialist will be tasked with planning, implementing, and monitoring ASCOA's communication plan and social media strategy. The goal of this role is to boost brand awareness, engage the target audience, and generate traffic and leads through various social media platforms. The volunteers will collaborate closely with our communication team to ensure a cohesive and impactful online presence.

We are looking for 5 online volunteers to help us develop a communication strategy which will include: . Assess ASCOA's current communication practices. . Identify key stakeholders and target audiences. . Develop a communication strategy aligned with ASCOA's goals. . Create a content plan with key messages and relevant topics. . Develop communication materials (newsletters, press releases, brochures, reports). . Establish internal and external communication protocols. Social Media Strategy Development: . Evaluate ASCOA's current social media presence. . Identify suitable social media platforms for target audiences. . Develop a social media strategy with objectives, goals, and performance metrics. . Create a content calendar with posting guidelines and engagement tactics. . Develop engaging content for social media channels (text, images, videos). . Establish a system for monitoring and responding to social media interactions.

Candidates should have previous experience in social media, communications, campaigning, or strategy development with excellent communication and writing/editing skills. - Good knowledge of online marketing tools and channels, as well as experience with designing outreach/marketing tools is highly desired. - A degree in marketing, marketing management, communications, or related fields is considered an asset. - Excellent written communication skills in English
