Design of announcements for YPWC

YPWC was established over 10 years ago. We mainly work with and for young people. However, we have not had the opportunity of presenting our information in a graphic format that will appeal to young people who follow up especially on social media. In 2022, we are looking for an online volunteer who will work with our social media team to produce useful graphics that communicate our activities and opportunities for young people's engagement in community development and their personal development.

The Graphic Designer for putting announcements in a visual creative format across our social media platforms. For instance, in the lead-up to key events such as workshops or conferences, we will ask the designer to put the announcement in an image format. Also during the week, we will require some motivational messages to be put in an image that can be shared on our social media platforms for young people. Content will be provided and it will be up to the designer to put it in a nice image format that is sharable.

Experience in designing for print and digital campaigns; Experience in social media campaigns; Ability to collaborate and co-create; Outstanding creative abilities; Team player; Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken; Outstanding presentation skills; Self-starter with a high degree of initiative; Expertise of using specialist graphic design tools and software packages; Expertise of traditional/classic graphic design skills; Ability to understand User Experience
