  • Work or volunteer experience in International Development or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in this field
  • Professional experience in graphic design with experience designing document layouts

  • Knowledge of the Sudan context

The RCO and PBF in Sudan share a small communications team which works to promote the visibility of the RC and the Fund, and coordinate communications across the UN entities in Sudan. A small team of volunteers would help to strengthen the communications outputs of this team by supporting with content creation and bringing creative ideas to the table. For the volunteers, this will be an opportunity to strengthen their communications skills, share creative ideas, learn how to communicate strategically in Sudan’s sensitive political context, gain exposure to the UN system and support its work.

The expected outcome of this online volunteering opportunity is to support the RCO and PBF’s communications team strengthen the visibility of the RC and the PBF in Sudan through:
- Supporting the design of six communications products including infographics for social media, brochures, reports, event invitations, etc.* - Archiving photos and selecting the best ones for public visibility *The design/layout should follow the PBF design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.

Required skills and experience: - Strong written communications skills in English - Background in communications with copywriting experience - Work or volunteer experience in International Development or a related field, or a Bachelors’ degree in this field
Desirable: - Professional experience in graphic design with experience designing document layouts - Experience translating documents from English to Arabic - Knowledge of the Sudan context
