International Friendship Day (IFD) is around the corner! On July 30th, 2024, the International Day of Friendship was established by the UN General Assembly in 2011 with the goal of inspiring peace efforts and fostering connections between people, countries, and cultures. It underscores the importance of engaging young people– our future leaders– in community activities that involve all nationalities and promote international understanding and respect for diversity. AAE plans to contribute to the celebration of International Friendship Day by launching a Friendship and Networking Month (FNM) for its members, from 1st July to 31st July.
Our community is composed of Entrepreneurs (mentees, mentors) and Non-Entrepreneurs (volunteers, interns, head office staff, students etc), and this year, we’d like to invite all to come and make some connections! Fostering a friendly networking environment where member of our commuity can interact and get to know each other.
AAE seeks for creative Online Volunteers to assist our team from a design and art perspective. The Online Volunteers will be expected to help designing a flyer and creating social media assets for our International Frienship Day activities. The design would also have a nativity with our brand to allow use on our publications and website. Volunteers would be asked to design two samples, one of which would be selected by the AAE team.
Candidates must have access to, and have a working knowledge of designing software and/or online tools . Please submit one of your recent designs (PDF copy or any available file) as a sample design work by including Google Drive link to your portfolio when completing your application.
