You have:
- Excellent communication skills.
- English language (native/fluent).
- Previous experience in writing/editing and conducting interviews in a humanitarian/development context.
- Basic knowledge of the United Nations System.
- A degree in Communication, Journalism or a related field is an asset.
- Familiarity with the regional context is a plus.

This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.
The purpose of this task is to bring attention to the accomplishments of UN Volunteers serving in the Arab States region by documenting their success stories, notable achievements, impact results, and personal narratives. These stories will then be published in the UNV website worldwide.
The selected online volunteers will collaborate with UNV regional communications team who will guide on UNV editorial policy, style and guidelines.
The UNV Regional Office for the Arab States is seeking the assistance of 2 Online Volunteers to create editorial content. Each Online Volunteer will be assigned the following tasks:
- Conducting interviews with selected UN Volunteers currently serving in the Arab States region and their supervisor(s).
- Writing 3 success stories complying with UNV editorial style.
Upon completing their tasks, the selected Online Volunteers will receive certificates of appreciation from UNV.

4) Basic knowledge of the United Nations System.
5) A degree in Communication, Journalism or a related field is an asset.
