To achieve this, we are seeking support of an online volunteer to develop the Excel sheet, incorporating all necessary formulas.

We are looking for one Online Volunteer who under the guidance of Partnership Coordinator support with creating an excel sheet to calculate the leave balances for UN Volunteers at UNICEF MENARO. The Online Volunteer will be responsible for:

  • Data Gathering and Entry: Collect all relevant information about the staff, including their names, employee IDs, leave types (e.g., vacation, sick leave), the number of days they are entitled to, the days they've taken, and any additional accrual or adjustment information.

-Designing the Excel Sheet: Create a well-organized and user-friendly Excel sheet. This might involve setting up different columns for employee details, leave types, entitlements, taken leaves, remaining balances, and any calculations needed for accruals or adjustments.

-Formulas and Calculations: Implement formulas to calculate leave balances accurately. This could involve using functions like SUM, IF statements for conditional calculations, and possibly more complex formulas to account for accrual rates or special cases.

-Testing and Validation: Test the Excel sheet thoroughly to ensure the calculations are accurate and error-free. Validate the formulas and ensure they adjust correctly when new leave data is entered or when staff use their leaves.
