Contract

This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.

The SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals is a global program by the UN Global Compact that empowers young talent in companies to drive business innovation aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of their onboarding, participants from around the world submitted short self-introduction videos.

This promotional video will serve to:

Celebrate the diversity and energy of our global cohort. Promote the Accelerator on social media, during events, and within internal UN communications. Inspire future cohorts and highlight youth leadership on the SDGs.

This task plays a small but powerful role in amplifying the voices of young changemakers and elevating their visibility on the world stage.

We are seeking a creative and skilled online volunteer in video editing to compile a short, high-energy promotional video (1–2 minutes) using self-recorded clips submitted by participants of the SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals. The selected volunteer will:

Review and organize existing video submissions (each approx. 1 minute long). Select and edit compelling excerpts that showcase the global diversity and enthusiasm of participants. Create a cohesive and inspiring promo video with simple text overlays, background music, and basic transitions. Deliver a final version in a web-friendly format.

The task will be fully remote. Communication will happen via email and/or short virtual check-ins. We will provide:

A shared folder with all participant footage. Brand guidelines and a logo package. A short brief on the tone, messaging, and target audience of the promo.

The timeline for delivery is flexible but ideally completed within 3 weeks of onboarding.

Proven experience in video editing (please share a sample or portfolio). Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar). Ability to create compelling and inclusive narratives from diverse footage. Understanding of pacing, music, and messaging for short-form promotional content.
