For West Africa, this leadership is provided by the UNODC Regional Office for West and Central Africa, headquartered in Dakar, Senegal (ROSEN). The scope of assistance provided has been broadening, with ever increasing attention being given to implementation assistance, as more countries have ratified more of the universal instruments.
