Context

The Brand and Public Engagement Section in NRC works directly under the External Relations Department (ExRel) is a global team, which responsible for engaging with private individuals and organisations to build awareness of NRC’s work and raise resources for NRC, especially unearmarked funds. The Brand and Public Engagement Section manages our digital channels to enable NRC globally to communicate NRC’s mission and impact. It serves all stakeholders, working for fundraising, media, advocacy, donor requirements, NRC accountability and transparency, employer branding and recruitment etc. The section owns and advances NRC’s public brand identity, communication strategies and voice for the whole organisation. They do this in multiple languages and integrating the needs of all NRC stakeholders, whilst ensuring external communication meets our values and that key needs and audiences are prioritised.

What you will do

As Content Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating content production for general public and other target audiences on NRC’s digital platforms in order for NRC to reach its strategic goals.

Some of your day-to-day tasks will include;

  • Lead content production team and be responsible for operational priorities, resource allocation, and day-to-day production.
  • Lead content production for general public and other target audiences on NRC’s digital platforms.
  • Responding to requests from across the organisation, allocating resources and delegating tasks in the content production team
  • Training, systematic feedback and other measures to enhance quality and efficiency of written material in the content production unit
  • Responsible for the style and standard of all external communication in English (including style guide, editorial responsibility, freelancers, translation and training)
  • Analysing data on content performance to inform efforts to improve content quality and reach engagement objectives through the NRC web site.

What you will bring

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within communication and digital production.
  • Digital content specialist with long and broad experience in production and editing for digital platforms.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to implementing strategies for content production.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and motivate teams in complex organisations to reach objectives.
