Overview
Evaluate and supervise water supply improvements in Muyinga.
You have:
- Have a degree in hydraulic engineering or civil engineering with skills in topography and plan reading and at least 5 years of experience in WASH project evaluations.
- Be physically fit to perform field visits, monitoring along the water supply lines from the source to the supply points.
- Develop inspection tools for water supply system (technical reception).
- Collaborate closely with the IRC base chief in Muyinga for all field outings.
- Effectively collaborate with municipal engineers and AHAMR to validate correction proposals.
- Be capable of producing brief and shareable reports at all levels.
- Have worked in Muyinga and know the infrastructure sites is an asset.
- Maintain open and professional relations with IRC focal points (DDP and base chief in Muyinga) providing technical feedback.
- Understand and agree to promote the IRC code of conduct (IRC Way) during the consultancy timeframe.
