The contractor will support the Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) Team, in the Division of Human Resources (DHR) to launch an onboarding and orientation in emergencies. The contract is for 20 days.

How can you make a difference?

Under the direct supervision of and under the overall guidance of the Chief, Human Resources Business Partner, the contractor will contribute to shaping the way the information is researched, gathered, aggregated and presented.

More specifically the contractor will be expected to:

  • Transfer information and data into Sharepoint
  • Collate and draft contents for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
  • Draft and tag contents to ensure availability of information into online tools
  • Ensure accuracy of data and of information
  • Develop content to ensure flow between different documents
  • Develop and simplify material for the purpose if wide dissemination to staff and personnel

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • An advanced university degree in human resources, international relations, information management or other related field.
  • Minimum three years of progressively responsible relevant professional work experience in one or more of the following areas: communication, design, data, research or another related area.
  • Excellent drafting skills.
  • Ability to work in an international or multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint and experience in drafting compelling and visually appealing content are an asset.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
