Job Description

- Stay informed of and ensure adherence to IRC and donor procedures and policies in relation to Supply Chain, Finance, HR and Programs as set out in relevant IRC manuals and guidelines. - Develop and implement checklist for different functions of Finance, Procurement and Supply chain - Assist Ethics and Compliance Manager on developing Local Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on Compliance and provide training and guidance to all staff to comply with the SOPs. - Assist the Ethics and Compliance manager on the training to relevant staff on IRC Standard Operating Procedures and policies across the mission. - Produce consolidated internal reports with findings and issues identified during the certain reviews, to be shared with the Ethics and Compliance Manager and contribute to give appropriate recommendations on improvements to the country program and related partners’ processes, systems and procedures where appropriate. - Assist Ethics and Compliance Manager to Sample HR, Finance, and Supply chain on a monthly basis using standard template and report to CD on a quarterly basis. - Assist the investigations for any misconduct or red flags assigned by Ethics and Compliance Manager or DDECG. - Conduct fields visit where s/he provides extensive guidance, training and support to the program and support department staff on Standard Operating Procedures across the functions. Such trainings and field visits shall remain consistent and the officer to submit field visits report to the Ethics and Compliance Manager. - The Ethics and Compliance Officer will assist the Ethics and Compliance Manager on developing the tools and provide training to specific staff with role in day-to-day compliance requirements. Conduct Compliance reviews/audits on KBL + all field offices. - To work on any other related tasks assigned by the line manager

Qualifications

- At least 2 years work experience in the same or similar position (experience with an international NGO or UN Agencies) - Minimum bachelor’s degree in Law, Psycho-social or similar fields and MBA degree is preferable - Strong analytical skills in related to feedback mechanism, and similar matters - Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations diplomatically and possesses strong communication skills. - Ability to travel to all IRC field offices and project sites - Excellent interpersonal and representational skills. - Good communication and report writing skills essential. - Strongly support gender balance and gender oriented - Remains productive when under pressure. - Demonstrates a systematic and efficient approach to work. - Flexibility and proven team player with ability to cultivate and maintain good working relationships with colleagues - Strong analytical skills and sound judgement - Computer skills: MS Office package and Internet. - Fluency in spoken and written English and knowledge of local languages is essential.
