Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

The position of Associate Operations Analyst is assigned to the Pakistan Resident Mission (PRM) within the Central and West Asia Department. You will be based at our Resident Mission Office in Islamabad, Pakistan.

You will primarily report to the Country Director or designated IS and will also have a matrix reporting line to the Regional Lead Economist for CWRD for economic analysis of country partnership strategies; country economic monitoring and economics-related analytical work.

Your Role

As an Associate Operations Analyst, you will provide technical and operational support to the Economic Unit of PRM by managing and delivering country economic and knowledge work, including economic research, data analysis, maintaining statistical databases, preparing reports, supporting business plans and strategies, analyzing ADB projects, and managing consultants.

Additional Information

ADB will be rolling-out a new job grading structure on 1 January 2025, which may result in a change of the position grade and title with no change in the terms of reference. This opening is a local staff position. It is open only to nationals and residents of Pakistan.

This is a fixed term appointment with option to renew for an initial period of three (3 ) years following Section 3.1 (b) of Administrative Order No. 2.01 ("Recruitment and Appointment'). This appointment is not convertible to a regular appointment. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may be renewed for a period of up to three years, or not renewed. There is no limit on the number of renewals. This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
