Overview

Assist in community protection and social cohesion initiatives

You have:

Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in humanitarian work, focusing on community protection.
Fluency in French is required.
Strong interpersonal skills and community engagement experience.
Knowledge of the Central African Republic context is an advantage.

La République centrafricaine traverse une crise humanitaire de grande envergure, avec quelques 400,000 personnes déplacées, et bien d’autres affectées. NRC a repris son programme en RCA en février 2014 et fonctionne avec trois bureaux de terrain : Berberati (dans le Sud-Ouest), Kaga-Bandoro (dans le Centre Nord) et Alindao (à l’Est). Son bureau central est à Bangui.

NRC recrute un(e) (01) Assistant(e) Protection Communautaire dans le cadre de la mise en œuvre de son projet de protection communautaire et de renforcement de la cohésion sociale dans la région de Nana-Gribizi, avec une forte composante prévention et gestion des conflits communautaires.

Le programme de NRC en RCA comprend les compétences centrales de NRC à savoir: l’Information, le Conseil et l’Assistance Légale, la Sécurité alimentaire, l’Eau, Hygiène et l’Assainissement/Abris, l’Education et la Protection/Médiation Humanitaire.

Le superviseur de l’Assistant Protection Communautaire est l’Officier Protection communautaire.
