Overview of this task is to reduce stress in the lives of those who are in Crisis Situation that we serve. Online Volunteers’ contributions through this task will support your organization's efforts towards achieving the SDGs.
We are looking for 3 Online Volunteers to assist in emotional support and psychoeducational counseling to people in following [event/crisis/situation]. Support is expected to be provided virtually through [tool/channel/ other means] and in close collaboration with a supervisor/focal point. During the assignment, Online Volunteers will: - Join induction and regular coordination meetings before and during the assignment - Respond to queries for emotional support and provide consultations - Report all consultations through the established channels [tools/documents etc.] - Refer queries to supervisors and seek support when necessary
Selected Online Volunteers will receive proper induction on the process as well as areas of counsel to be provided.
Candidates must be professionals in psychology and/or psychiatry, with experience in clinical care, who could contain with psychological first aid. Have assertive communication and coordination skills.
