Job Description

Job Overview: The Program Supervisor will oversee the coordination and implementation of multiple federal and private foundation grants and will ensure program compliance and quality assurance and provide appropriate training, support, and supervision to staff, volunteers, and interns. They will also engage in technical assistance, training and outreach to build capacity and provide case management services if needed. Reports to: Safety & Protection Program Manager.

Major Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Responsible for the successful implementation of the goals of the International Rescue Committee’s (IRC) Human Trafficking grant including ensuring IRC and all partners under the grant achieve the highest level of service and outreach to the region - Actively serve as the primary point of contact for the partnership between IRC and the Survive and Thrive Advocacy Center (STAC) and other project partners - Serves as representative of the IRC and the Human Trafficking program in the Florida big bend and panhandle region - Represent the vision, mission and goals of IRC’s anti-trafficking programming and educate a wide range of public and private partners, in order to increase awareness and identification of victims of trafficking - Active attendance at all relevant meetings and assuming leadership positions in order to achieve the goals of the grant in local coalitions and task forces, as well as any other key local and federal agency addressing human trafficking in Florida - Work closely with the IRC anti-trafficking program in South Florida and the team members

- Actively develop and participate in outreach and public awareness activities in order to build capacity in service area - Provide trainings and technical assistance to a variety of community stakeholders - Track clients through the program utilizing data systems to ensure all services are provided in a timely manner and properly documented - Ensure client success with a strong emphasis on empowerment through high quality service that supports clients to thrive in their community - Maintain compliance with case file management and reporting requirement - Adhere to all IRC policies and protocols, organize meetings as required - Actively participate in fundraising to meet or exceed the match requirements of the grant and ensure the program is fully resourced - Track relevant legislative activities and actively participate in public outreach and advocacy to local, state, and federal legislators to ensure legislation appropriately addresses trafficking and supports clients - Coordinate and collaborative with relevant partners involved in the evaluation of the program - Complete all reports in a timely fashion - Position involves evening and weekend work and travel - Other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required in social work, international relations, or other relevant field strongly preferred

Work Experience:

- Experience in supervision and service delivery

Demonstrated Skills & Competencies:

- Fluency in written and spoken English; Bi-lingual desirable - Cultural sensitivity/ good cross cultural communication skills - Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively - Ability to effectively communicate and work as a team member in a cross-cultural environment - Computer literacy required - Must have reliable transportation and maintain valid driver’s license and insurance coverage and be able to provide evidence of such to the IRC

Working Environment:

- A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities.
