UNV is consistently enthusiastic about engaging highly qualified candidates with its partner UN agencies. This can be achieved by identifying our partners' current activities and offer them the support of volunteers, (both online and onsite),
This analysis task will enable us to gain a clear understanding of the current and future undertakings of our partner UN agencies, allowing us to strategically prepare for the promotion of volunteerism within these activities.
The selected online volunteers will have a valuable opportunity to familiarize themselves with the workings of UN agencies and support UNV in advocating for volunteer work in the Arab States. Upon completion of the task, you will receive a Certificate of Appreciation bearing the signature and stamp of UNV as a token of our gratitude.
We are looking for support of seven online volunteers in analyzing the current and future activities of various UN agencies operating in the Arab States.
Each of the selected online volunteers will be assigned to focus on one specific UN agency operating within the Arab States. Their task will involve thoroughly examining the agency's strategic documents and reports to identify potential activities that could benefit from volunteer support.
The targeted UN agencies for analysis are: UNICEF, UNHCR, UNFPA, WFP, OCHA, OHCHR, and FAO.
The final deliverable will be a list of potential activities that could benefit from volunteer support.
- Candidates should have strong research and analytical skills.
- Working experience with the UN agencies preferably in the Arab States.
