Role Summary

As an Analyst in one of the Institute’s Policy teams, you will conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis for the team and support research across the Institute. You will also support and contribute to policy papers and reports published by TBI.

Health Policy. This team covers all elements of health policy, including funding and structures for health delivery, application of new technology, better use of data, life sciences industries, and support for public health.

Key Responsibilities

The post holder will:

  • Work under the direction of a policy adviser or senior analyst
  • Be responsible for conducting policy research and analysis
  • Support the team in capturing data, presenting information and preparing policy products
  • Support the Policy Adviser and others in briefing senior colleagues or external clients

Person Specification

A successful candidate will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Track record of achieving results against stretching objectives
  • Very good written and spoken communication skills
  • Very good interpersonal and networking skills
  • A keen interest in politics, policy and current affairs
  • Knowledge of political processes, ideally in more than one geography
