How can you make a difference?

Based on the findings of the June 2021 UNICEF Pulse Check Survey on Workplace Culture and ROSA Speak-Out Culture Survey, and in close collaboration with the Organisational Culture section in NYHQ, the consultancy will operationalise the findings leading to practical actions for staff at all levels

Key Assignments/Tasks:

  • Review key existing documentation:
  • June 2021 Pulse Check Survey for ROSA
  • ROSA 2021 Speak-Out Culture Survey
  • Design and lead small group discussions
  • Analyse the discussion group data.
  • Generate a final report for JCC, ROMT and all ROSA staff that would: summarise the findings; identify key areas of attention for ROSA; and provide recommendations and actions for ROSA to prioritise.
  • Debrief senior management and staff through a validation meeting for finalization of the report.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • An academic degree, and other relevant certification, in change management, leadership development, organizational culture or other related area.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.

Work experience:

  • Researcher with a minimum of 8 years of working in the areas of staff development, organisational culture change, management initiatives and HR issues.
  • Evidence of innovative and creative approaches to learning and culture change implementation.
  • Proven track record of designing and facilitating programmes for staff, both in person and virtually.
  • Coaching certification is an advantage.

Competencies:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • A team player, with a strong drive for results;
  • Cultural awareness, and demonstrated sensitivity to diversity.

  • Excellent understanding of UN organisations (preferably UNICEF)

  • Understanding of issues that emerged in the Pulse Check Surveys.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
