Contribute to data collection activities in accordance with established protocols.

You have:

  • Be at least holder of a state diploma (secondary) or equivalent.
  • Have an interest in data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and research activities.
  • Experience in quantitative or qualitative data collection is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for electronic data collection.
  • Knowledge of data collection applications such as CommCare, KoboCollect, ODK or other similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Mastery of spoken and written French.
  • Mastery of Swahili and at least one local language spoken in the intervention areas of the Beni office.
  • Ability to communicate easily with different types of respondents and conduct individual interviews or group discussions after training.
  • Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, discretion and respect for confidentiality of collected information.
  • Be available for travel to Mercy Corps intervention areas.
  • Be able to work in a team and respect instructions and deadlines.
  • Be a resident of the intervention area.
