Participate in data collection activities, respecting established protocols.

You have:

  • Be a holder of at least a State diploma (secondary) or equivalent.
  • Have an interest in data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and research activities.
  • Previous experience in quantitative or qualitative data collection is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Be able to use a smartphone or tablet for electronic data collection.
  • Knowledge of data collection applications such as CommCare, KoboCollect, ODK or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Master spoken and written French.
  • Master Swahili and at least one local language spoken in the intervention areas of the Beni Office.
  • Be able to communicate easily with different types of respondents and conduct individual interviews or group discussions after training.
  • Exhibit integrity, professionalism, discretion, and respect for the confidentiality of collected information.
  • Be available for travel in Mercy Corps intervention areas.
  • Be able to work in a team and follow instructions and deadlines.
  • Be a resident of the intervention area.
