Overview
Participate in data collection activities, respecting established protocols.
You have:
- Be a holder of at least a State diploma (secondary) or equivalent.
- Have an interest in data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and research activities.
- Previous experience in quantitative or qualitative data collection is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Be able to use a smartphone or tablet for electronic data collection.
- Knowledge of data collection applications such as CommCare, KoboCollect, ODK or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Master spoken and written French.
- Master Swahili and at least one local language spoken in the intervention areas of the Beni Office.
- Be able to communicate easily with different types of respondents and conduct individual interviews or group discussions after training.
- Exhibit integrity, professionalism, discretion, and respect for the confidentiality of collected information.
- Be available for travel in Mercy Corps intervention areas.
- Be able to work in a team and follow instructions and deadlines.
- Be a resident of the intervention area.
