ROLE PURPOSE:
Save the Children Thailand is implementing the Youth Employability Project in Bangkok to equip local youth with vocational training, enhance life skills, and improve employment opportunities while addressing barriers to decent work in Thailand.
The Youth Employability Project Officer will be responsible for leading the adaptation, contextualization, and delivery of the Life Skills for Success (LS4S) curriculum under the Youth Employability Program. The role will provide technical support and training to local implementing partners, vocational institutions, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of LS4S to youth. The Project Officer will also contribute to monitoring, learning, and continuous improvement of the curriculum and training approaches, ensuring they are inclusive, gender-sensitive, and responsive to the diverse needs of target youth communities.

Role Dimensions: Close collaboration with local implementing partners, trainers, schools, vocational institutions, and private sector actors. Requires up to 50% travel within Bangkok.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Project management:
- Lead the adaptation and contextualization of the LS4S curriculum to the Thai context and the specific needs of marginalized youth, with technical support from the Technical Expert and Strategy, Program Quality, and Impact (SPQI) team.
- Design and deliver training-of-trainers (ToT) workshops for implementing partners, teachers, and facilitators on the LS4S curriculum.
- Provide ongoing mentoring, coaching, and technical assistance to partners and facilitators to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Develop and refine training materials, manuals, and tools in close collaboration with the project team.
Gather feedback from partners and youth to continuously strengthen the curriculum and improve delivery approaches.
Project Support and Coordination:
- Work closely with the Bangkok Programme Coordinator, Project Assistant, and MEAL team to track training outcomes, document lessons learned, and report on progress.
- Support the planning and coordination of youth employability and life skills activities, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Liaise with local stakeholders (TVET institutions, schools, government, private sector) to strengthen buy-in and collaboration on the youth employability program.
- Contribute to donor reporting by providing training-related updates, case studies, and success stories.
- Support the team to update and revise of project management tools in the PRIME system, ensuring timely tracking of indicators, reports, and KPIs.
- Prepare of procurement and administrative documentation required for project delivery.
Prepare the planning and logistics of project activities.

Reporting and Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL):
- Monitor and evaluate the project activities in line with the internal M&E plan and in coordination with MEAL team.
- Liaise with relevant team members to collect information to ensure timely and quality reporting of project activities in line with donor and internal requirements.
- To maximize continuous learning, ensure timely and quality documentation of project activities, including collection of case studies and documenting of lessons learned, best practices and challenges.
Participate in the regular meetings with SC member offices to share progress updates, key learnings, and good practices from the program. Use the platforms to engage stakeholders, strengthen collaboration, and generate opportunities for scaling, replication, and donor engagement,
Collaboration and Representation:
- Establish and nurture partnerships through multi-sector partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, including technical and vocational education and training centres, government agencies, NGOs, educational institutions, businesses, and potential donors.
- Work closely with the Bangkok Programme Coordinator and the New Business Development team to develop and implement a plan for donor engagement and stewardship activities to strengthen relationships and sustain support.
