The Opportunity

The Youth Education Officer is a dynamic and exciting role, offering the opportunity to engage young people on global justice issues and to contribute to an impactful and innovative development education programme. Working as part of a team, the role is best suited to someone with youth and community work experience, seeking to further develop their skills and to foster the next generation of global citizens.

Requirements

You will report to the development education programme manager. The job opportunity will be offered on a specified purpose contract to cover a maternity leave and is based in Maynooth.

You will have youth and community work experience and training, and experience in facillitating diverse groups of young people. You will demonstrate initiative and strong planning and organising skillls, aswell as having knowledge and understanding of the youth sector in Ireland.
