You have:

UNESCO Bangkok Office invites young people who are living around the world to be volunteers on the Asia-Pacific Interagency Network on Youth to reach out to youth organizations and collect Y-MAP data. Y-Map includes database maintenance, updating youth organization status, request for the latitude and longitude of a youth organization which currently captures 1634+ organizations and covers 30+ countries, and the development of a layer for individuals. Data collection Online Volunteers will support includes reaching out to youth organizations and requesting the latitude and longitude of youth organization location in each country, in order to get an accurate location. The batch will be from June to July 2021.

    Asia-Pacific Interagency Network on Youth (APINY) is a platform where youth organizations may be able to do some collaborations, share their stories and opportunities for other young people. APINY also acts as a channel for 'Youth Interest' in particular to match group/s in their area working on relevant issues. The aim of this platform is to strengthen different partnerships and knowledge exchanges among United Nations (UN) entities, Civil Society Organizations (CSO), and the Youth. Also, the goal is to implement or strengthen policies that provide opportunities for young people to build their capacities and contribute to development in the context of the Asia-Pacific region’s social, economic, and environmental challenges.

    The task requires candidates with skills and experience in data collecting and communication. This requires highly motivated candidates who are passionate about community development.
