Background World Vision is a relief and development organization working to improve the quality of life of people, especially children who are marginalized and living in poverty. World Vision helps all who are in need, regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity or gender. World Vision International in Vietnam (WVI) has been funded by 13 support countries in Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Australia. Funding of WVI in Vietnam consists of sponsorship program funding (70%) and Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS)/grants (30%). WVI employs about 400 staff, of which 99% are Vietnamese nationals. WVI is operating in 25 Area Programs (AP) in 4 zones: North 1 (Dien Bien, Ha Noi, Hai Phong), North 2 (Thanh Hoa, Hung Yen, Quang Ninh), Central (Quang Tri, and Da Nang), and South (Quang Ngai, Ho Chi Minh, Dak Nong). WVI’s AP usually focuses on one administrative district of a province which populated by ethnic minority people with high rates of poverty. Beside the APs, WVI is also implementing different Special and Grant Projects to meet the specific needs of vulnerable children in both AP and non-AP areas. We are looking for a competent Vietnamese candidate to fill the following position: Job Title: ADP Development Facilitator Work Location: Tuyen Minh Area Development Program in Tuyen Minh District, Quang Tri Province Reports to: Area Development Program Manager Position information: 1, As the ADP Development Facilitator, you will: • Engage communities and local partners to plan, implement, and sustain child-focused, community-based development in line with Area Development Program priorities. • Coordinate program management and technical implementation, ensuring quality, accountability, and integration of gender equality, social inclusion, disaster risk reduction, and advocacy. • Lead community-level planning, monitoring, reflection, and learning processes, contributing to Area Program monitoring and reporting requirements. • Promote meaningful child participation, strengthen community-based child protection mechanisms, and ensure inclusion of most vulnerable children. • Support community development initiatives and micro-projects to strengthen local ownership, resilience, and sustainability.
