Write and edit content pieces for UNV and UN Volunteers advocacy.

You have:

  • Native-level English speakers with professional experience in writing and journalism.
  • Experience in packaging development jargon in appealing journalistic language.
  • Previous experience with creative writing for UN entities is a strong asset.

UNV publishes results reporting, and partner articles, as well as volunteer voices and blogs on its website. The selected UN Online Volunteer will be tasked to edit and/or write 15 content pieces in journalistic English for UNV internal and external stakeholders. Volunteers will be credited in the published content.

    The content is meant to give visibility to the work of UNV and UN Volunteers under the HRD programme, and to advocate for volunteerism for development amongst UNV partners and stakeholders. Well-formulated results reporting, case studies and publications will allow UNV to reach a wider audience.

  • 6-10 hours per week / 8 weeks

    Native-level English speakers who have professional expérience in writing and journalism - Also with experience in packaging development jargon in appealing journalistic language. Previous experience with creative writing for UN entities is a strong asset.
